Curate Build is a Shelter Island\u2013based custom home builder. Our office is on North Ferry Road; our projects are on the island and in the surrounding East End \u2014 the Hamptons across Peconic Bay and the North Fork across the North Ferry.
Building on Shelter Island is different. Two ferry rides, a protected aquifer, wetland setbacks, and neighbors close enough that everyone notices the third delivery truck of the day. Successful projects here come from a builder who lives and works on the island year-round \u2014 who has trusted subcontractors that will actually show up in February, and who understands what the Building Department expects.

We work in partnership with architects and interior designers on new construction, gut renovations, and historically-sensitive additions to existing island homes. Recent Shelter Island projects include work with Workstead (a 620 sq ft pavilion added to a 1940 weekend cottage), Barliss Wedlick, David Neff, and S4 Architects.
